We manufacture all our pieces in Spain and by hand, which means that no jewel will be the same as another and will make it unique. Many of our pieces have texture which is an indispensable part of the design.
We only work with 18K gold, sterling silver and 18K gold plating, so with good care, the rigido jewels can last a lifetime in perfect condition.
We recommend avoiding the use of chemicals such as perfumes and lotions near jewelry. Store your jewelry in a safe and dry place, to be able to be in its original box.

Silver:
Silver can oxidize naturally, showing a patina (oxidation) over time.
There are specific products on the market for cleaning your jewelry, but if you want to do it naturally, use warm water with neutral soap and a cotton cloth.
For a deeper cleaning we consult at care@rigido.es

Gold:
In the case of gold, always use specific products for your care.

Vermeil (23K gold plating):
It is a surface treatment applied to sterling silver, so it is necessary to have a special prudence since they are more delicate pieces that can be damaged with poor care.
Remove and store the pieces before exercise, bathing, swimming or sleeping. Use only soap and water to clean and dry them scrupulously.

Zircon Stones:

All our Zircon stones are created in Córdoba, Spain.

Stones that are procured through ethical, sustainable, and eco-responsible processes in Cordoba factory.

It was important to us to find a factory that substantiates 3 mainstays:

Health & Safety Environment

Labour Standards

Business Ethics

Zircon Care:

Hardness and toughness
Gem and mineral hardness is measured on the Mohs scale.

Our Zircons are rated 7 on the Mohs scale. It can be worn in all types of jewelry as long as proper care is given to avoid rough wearing or hard blows.

Zircon is stable when exposed to chemicals.

Cleaning
Warm, soapy water is recommended for cleaning zircon.

Enamel:
Enamel jewelry is made by fusing powdered glass to a base metal at high temperatures to create a glossy and brightly colour design. Enameling is a difficult technique that is done by hand one by one.

Enamel Care:
This material can be damaged if exposed to a high temperatures, sea water, humidity and harsh chemicals. To keep the beauty of the piece, do not bath, swim or shower with it, as all of these situations can degrade the enamel faster. Be careful to hit the piece against another object , the enamel can crack. Treat your jewel like the valuable piece that it is and it’ll last forever! Clean your piece with warm water (no more than 3 minutes) dry it gently with a cloth and store your piece in a safe, dry piece.
